History

Founded in June of 2002 by Jim Digney, John McCarthy, Phil DiGennaro, Steve Siegel and Mark Keeney , the goal of Abbey Road Advisors was to utilize its partner’s 140 years of experience to acquire, develop and reposition commercial real estate with a select group of investors in order to generate superior risk adjusted annual and total returns.

In 2003, Abbey Road Advisors acquired its first two assets in Connecticut and over the next three years Abbey Road Advisors acquired seven additional assets totaling 750,000 square feet for a total of $235 million while expanding their acquisition efforts into New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts. In 2005, Alan Bates joined the Abbey Road Advisors team as the newest partner.

2007 was a year of tremendous growth for Abbey Road Advisors. The company completed the acquisition of 11 new properties totaling approximately 725,000 square feet of real estate.  In total, the company has a property portfolio of approximately $260 million, 1.1 million square feet and $75 million in equity.

During the 2007, Abbey Road Advisors also sold three assets for $245 million generating before tax returns in excess of 30%.  Additionally, 2007 saw the addition of Nick Campofranco and Ross Ogden to the Abbey Road Advisors team.
